Where have all the positive female role models in history gone? You can’t find them in a textbook. They’re not on MTV. While our children are learning about Paul Revere, Henry Ford and other notable male historical figures, the women pioneers are mysteriously missing. With no one to really relate to or be inspired by, who can girls turn to? Britney Spears? Lindsay Lohan? No!
They can turn to the Gutsy Gals featured in our film and book series, that’s who! In addition, we are specifically developing exciting teaching tools for both parents and teachers. Read below.
TEACHING TOOLS FOR TEACHERS:
Now you can supplement your current curriculum with study booklets based on the stories of our dynamic Gutsy Gals. Your students will hone vocabulary, punctuation, and reading comprehension skills. Inspire the girls (and boys) in your class by stepping outside the box and allowing a positive historical female to take center stage.
TEACHING TOOLS FOR PARENTS:
If your children’s school isn’t doing enough to highlight notable women of the past, you’ll love our teaching tools made for parents. With them you can bring the story of our Gutsy Gals to life in your own home! Our study book based on Berta Benz’s story includes recipes from Berta’s homeland of Germany, memory games, and room for self-exploration.
BOOK A GUTSY GAL:
It just takes one Gusty Gal to ignite the can-do spirit in us all. If you’d like to have one of our Gutsy Gals come speak at your school, group, or organization, email us at: info@gutsygalsinspireme.com.
SCHOLARSHIP PROGRAM (in development):
We are in the process of creating a Scholarship and Awards Program to honor our up-and-coming Gutsy Girls. By partnering up with national girl’s organizations, monetary awards will be presented to young women who are challenging the status quo and positively impacting the community around them. If you know of a group who’d like to contribute to this important fund, please contact info@gutsygalsinspireme.com.
