Gutsy Gals Inspire Me is the brainchild of Deborah Hutchison, CEO and co-founder of Panther Productions, Inc. ‘Gutsy Gals’ is Deborah’s latest and boldest venture—a byproduct of two strong aspects of her personality: problem solving and a lifelong desire to positively impact the lives of others.
Gutsy Gals is an inspirational media company that honors women of the past and showcases women of the present to provide positive, female role models to children and adults. Our vision is one where women of all ages, no matter what their situation or circumstance, feel sufficiently able to live their own lives and pursue their own dreams and ambitions.
The first such Gutsy Gal to be profiled is Berta Benz, who in 1888—overcoming much adversity—became the first person to drive an automobile over 60 mi., effectively inventing the road trip. Says Dr. Dieter Zetsche, Chairman of the Board of Management of Daimler AG, "Berta Benz's long-distance journey was the start of a triumphant march which the automobile has continued to make around the world ever since.
